PRIVACY · UPDATED SEPTEMBER 8, 2026

Your work is personal.

Your goals, projects and focus history stay on your Mac. Buying and activating a commercial license uses online services, described below.

Browsing this website

Cloudflare hosts and protects getlocktfin.com. It processes technical request information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information and request times. Limited operational logs help diagnose failures. We do not add advertising pixels. We use anonymous website analytics through PostHog, which receives four types of events: page views, demo starts, checkout starts and confirmed purchases. Events contain a random browser-session identifier, a campaign-source label and, for purchases, amount, currency and paid-or-complimentary status. We do not send your email, license key, goal text or project names to PostHog, and we do not record your screen or native app activity. The random identifier lasts for the browser session. You can turn off website analytics below; your preference is saved in this browser. We also respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control, along with any earlier opt-out.

Purchases and license records

Stripe hosts checkout and processes payment information. New checkouts use Stripe Managed Payments, with Link acting as merchant of record and handling transaction support and applicable transaction taxes. Link’s terms and privacy policy appear in Checkout. We receive purchase identifiers, the checkout email, amount, currency and payment/refund status to deliver and manage your license. Card details are not stored in our website database.

Cloudflare D1 stores order and license records, activation identifiers, update eligibility, delivery status and temporary checkout quotes. Email addresses and license keys are encrypted in storage; lookup tokens are hashed. These records do not contain your goals, projects or focus history.

Essential cookies and recovery links

A secure, HTTP-only cookie lets you retrieve your own purchase after checkout. It lasts up to 12 hours. Email recovery uses a single-use link that expires after 15 minutes and creates a 30-minute management session. These are essential service cookies, not advertising trackers.

Activation on your Mac

First activation sends your license key and a random installation identifier to our license service. The app stores its activation credential in macOS Keychain and periodically checks license status online. Checks include the installed release’s eligibility for updates. We do not use a hardware serial number or upload focus history. An already activated, eligible version can continue working offline.

License and support emails

Mailgun processes the recipient address and message content to send your license, download and recovery emails from support@mg.getlocktfin.com. These transactional emails do not use open or click tracking. Provider acceptance and delivery information are used to troubleshoot delivery. Emailing support shares your address and the message you send; avoid including passwords or unnecessary personal information.

Customer check-in emails

Plunk sends new customers two automatic check-ins: setup help after about two days and a feedback request after about seven days. We share your checkout email and purchase/refund status with Plunk for this sequence. Each email includes an unsubscribe link; opting out does not affect license delivery, access or refunds. Open and click tracking are disabled. Replies go to our support inbox. We ask for separate permission before publishing any testimonial.

Optional assistants

If you connect an assistant through read-only MCP, that assistant may send the data it reads to its provider. Your assistant’s policies apply. Read about MCP.

Retention and your choices

We retain purchase, license and refund records to provide continued access, resolve support requests and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Temporary recovery tokens and management sessions expire automatically. Short-lived, hashed network rate-limit records help prevent abuse. You can export or delete local focus data in the app and release a Mac through license management.

Cloudflare, Stripe, Mailgun, Plunk and PostHog may process service data outside your country. Contact support@mg.getlocktfin.com to request access, correction or deletion of service records. Some purchase records may need to be retained; deleting activation records can affect license access.
